Lieutenant General Kavita Sahai, SM, VSM, Commandant, AMC Centre & College and OIC Records and Col Commandant of AMC, proceeded on permanent posting to Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence, Navy, New Delhi. She will be assuming the appointment of Director General Medical Services (Navy).
A number of events were organized on the occasion of the General Officer’s relinquishing the appointment.
Before relinquishment of her appointment as the Commandant, Lieutenant General Kavita Sahai laid a wreath at the AMC War Memorial ‘Shraddhanjali’ to pay homage to the fallen heroes of the Army Medical Corps who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
Lieutenant General Kavita Sahai was given a Guard of Honour on 07 Oct 2024 at Naik Deepak Singh, Vir Chakra Parade Ground, AMC Centre & College wherein the soldiers of Army Medical Corps put their best foot forward & displayed the collective might of their soldiering, discipline & training in a precision march past.
